21/12 The glorious return of Amsterdam
The full Amsterdam SEVEN piece spectacular will return to the stage in March 2010 with two shows already confirmed.
TThe first show is at fantastic London venue the Luminaire on Saturday 13 March with another the week after at Liverpool spiritual home the O2 Academy on Saturday 20 March. One or two other shows are now being considered.
TFollowing the wrapping up of the final Pele reunion date Ian is chomping at the bit to get back to playing new music. "I enjoyed myself doing those few shows with my old band and I really cant wait for the full Amsterdam ensemble to tackle a couple of those older songs - Policeman will sound unreal with the seven of us.
T"But the most important thing by a mile is Amsterdam music and especially the new stuff which is sounding fantastic, it seems we really know what we're doing these days. I cant wait".
TTickets for the shows are on sale right now, for the Luminaire at wegottickets.com and ticketweb.co.uk and for Liverpool at ticketweb.co.uk.
